Latisse

Latisse solution is the only FDA-approved treatment clinically proven to grow lashes.

It is a once daily treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper lashes, as instructed by your doctor.  Most patients begin to see longer, fuller, and darker lashes in approximately 4 weeks.  Patients seeking maximum results should continue with the treatment application routine for a full 16 weeks.

Latisse makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient:  bimatoprost.  Although precise mechanism of action is unknown, Latisse is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways:  first, it increases the length of this phase, and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase.

Latisse is proven to be highly effective, with eyelashes typically growing 25% longer, 106% thicker, and 18% darker with regular use.  Latisse is compatible with cosmetic use, such as mascara and eye shadow.  If Latisse application is stopped, eyelashes will return to their previous appearance within several weeks or months.
