This 27 year old Asian woman is bothered by the lack of her upper eyelid creases. She has had a monolid her whole life. Her mom has a double eyelids, so she would like to look more like the rest of her family. Dr. Amadi noted that she has thick skin and fatty eyelids which make her a candidate for incision type double eyelid surgery but not the suture method. She underwent incision double eyelid surgery with a tapered medial crease style and slightly flared lateral crease. At ther 3 month photo you can see a beautifully symmetric, natural result. She did express that it took a little while for her to adjust to her “new look” but she is very happy with her results!
