At Amadi Aesthetics Plastic Surgery, we offer chin implants to help you achieve your desired facial contour. A chin implant, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure that involves the placement of a silicone implant to augment the chin.

Chin implants come in various shapes and sizes to suit each patient’s unique facial structure. They can be customized to achieve different degrees of projection, width, and length.

During the chin implant procedure, Dr Amadi will make a small incision either under your chin or inside your mouth to create a pocket for the implant. The implant is then placed and secured in the pocket, and the incision is closed with sutures.

Is a Chin Implant Right for You?

Chin implants may be right for you if you have a weak or recessed chin, an undefined jawline, or simply desire a more balanced and defined facial structure. However, it’s important to note that Dr Amdi will need to evaluate your individual needs and medical history to determine if it is the right option for you.

What to Expect During Recovery

After the procedure, you may experience some swelling and bruising, but these symptoms should subside within a few weeks. You may also be advised to follow a liquid or soft food diet for a few days to avoid putting pressure on the chin area. Most patients can return to work and resume their normal activities within a week or two.
