This 49 year-old Asian woman was dissatisfied with the appearance of her eyelids and desired “double-eyelid surgery”. She was unhappy with her uneven, poorly formed creases, eyelash droop, and general swelling along her eyelid margins. Dr.Amadi performed an Asian Blepharoplasty with lid crease reformation. He removed a small ellipse of skin and a strip of muscle to open space to anchor the eyelid crease. He created a tapered medial crease per patient preference. The combination of these techniques created a natural asian eyelid crease. Just two weeks after the surgery she stated she had not experienced any pain or numbness of her eyes and was quite satisfied with the result. The postoperative photo seen here was taken at 3 months
