This 27 year old patient was born with a naturally occurring crease on her left upper eyelid, but did not have one on her right side. She wanted a crease to match her left side. Unilateral surgery is often more challenging as symmetrical surgery is not performed, but this patient was very pleased with her results. A new crease can sometimes look slightly thicker than a natural crease due to muscle and scar thickness, but this is usually very subtle feature.
