Lower Blepharoplasty

Lower Blepharoplasty 13

This is a 59-year-old woman who states that the baggy eyelids make her look tired and older than she is. Dr. Amadi evaluated her and diagnosed lower eyelid fat prolapse, mild skin excess, and cheek volume loss that accentuates her tear trough and lower eyelid bagginess. To obtain the best possible results, lower lid blepharoplasty was performed to remove some eyelid fat, along with a skin pinch excision to improve the wrinkles. In addition, to avoid hollowing of the eyelids, and to improve the eyelid cheek transition zone, cheek and tear trough fat grafting was done.
