This 62-year-old woman was unhappy with her extremely heavy upper eyelids, and had difficult seeing objects in her upper visual field, such as the traffic lights while driving. Her eyelid skin is draped over her lashes thus compromising her visual field. After obtaining preauthorization from her insurance, an upper lid blepharoplasty was performed by Dr. Amadi, improving both her visual function and her cosmetic appearance. She still has mild hooding laterally which would be improved with a brow lift, but was still very pleased with her improved appearance and function.
